As many of our older readers will know, e’S is a brand that has been around for along time making some of the most iconic skateboarding shoes of all time and giving back to skateboarding with every flip, push, and step. After a brief hiatus for a minute they have come back swinging. They have released not only a full line of new styles and updates on some of their classics but to the joy of many have also re-released some of the Classics themselves.

I just spent several weeks skating the e’S ACCEL OG’s and they’re are every bit as awesome as they were back in the day. One thing you notice when you first put them on is they are much more robust then many of todays thinner vulcanized shoes that are the current trend. You also notice with this added bulk there is very little in added weight due to a well engineered upper pattern that allows efficient use of materials. Another thing that is dialed is the support. You feel much more secure in the heel area and even when wearing them loose you have little worry of a slip out. Even with this extra comfort and padding they still provide superior grip and control for pulling tech tricks while saving your bones on impact after a make or break huck down the big stuff. I am a bigger dude (read fat ass) so I have to say I really appreciate the added support and durability not only while skating but also while cruising around town etc. Stoked that e’S brought back one of the iconic shoes of my youth and it is sure to be a hit again.
